Art Platform

On May 15, 2023, the launch of the Art Platform will take place in the reading room of the "KROK" University library.

A charity auction for the sale of works of fine art will open the first page of the platform's activities.

The works of well-known Ukrainian artists will be presented: Bokoteya A.A. - People's Artist of Ukraine, Laureate of the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko, Professor, active member (academic) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Huyda M.E. - People's Artist of Ukraine, Laureate of the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko, Professor, active member (academic) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Laureate of the award named after I. Ohienko and the international festival "Golden Intersection", A.V. Chebykina. - People's Artist of Ukraine, Laureate of the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko, Professor, full member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as artists who have recently started their creative careers. Half of the funds from the sale of paintings will be transferred to the funds of Ukrainian charitable organizations that specialize in helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the rest will be transferred to the Authors, in order to support them in the development of Ukrainian art. This charity event is a sign of the unification of our artistic community in a single desire for the Victory of the indomitable Ukrainian people, the return of a peaceful life.

Art connoisseurs, philanthropists, and anyone who wants to contribute to helping our army by purchasing a truly valuable item are invited to participate in the auction. By visiting this event, you will have the opportunity to see a wonderful exhibition of paintings, get acquainted with the work of outstanding and talented masters, feel the atmosphere of the auction and meet interesting people.

You can take part both offline and online, and for everyone who wants to just watch, the broadcast of the event will be available. The report on collected and transferred funds will be available on the official website of the "KROK" University.

After May 15, 2023, the Art Platform will be active, its collection will be enriched with works of fine art. The charity auction will continue its work on the online platform.

Graphic artist, watercolor master, teacher. Studied at the art studio at the Central Academy of Arts, was a student of M.N. Groh and V.V. Huyda Mykhailo

Huyda Mykhailo (Born 1954)

People's Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko (2016), professor, active member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Laureate of the award named after I. Ohienko (2000) and the international festival "Golden Intersection" (1996). Awarded: Certificate of Honor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2005), Gold Medal of AMU (2004).

Participant of national and international art exhibitions and plein airs. He devotes a lot of energy to the training and education of young painters at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. Having started creative and pedagogical activities within the walls of the Kyiv State Art Institute, he successfully completed the path of searching for his own style, individual creative handwriting in the field of painting. The leading theme of M. Huyda's work was and remains the theme of nature and man. Striving to achieve the expressiveness of the plastic form, the original color solution of the theme, the persuasiveness of the image, the consonance of nature and the emotional state of the heroes of the canvas - these are the main postulates of the artist's work, his artistic credo.

The most expressive canvases include the paintings "In the steppes near Kherson", "Silence", "Koliivshchyna", "Remembrance", "In the red dragon", "In the dressing room", "Family portrait in oriental dress"; portraits: Oksana Poltavets, Bohdan Benyuk, Raisa Nedashkivska, Olga Sumska. The artist made a significant contribution to the development of cultural and artistic ties between Ukraine and China, training of young artistic personnel. M. Guida's works are kept in museums, galleries, private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Kyrychenko Victor

Kyrychenko Victor (Born 1963)

Graphic artist, painter. Son of Mykola, brother of Ivan Kirichenkov. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2006). Member of the NSHU (1990). Graduated from Kyiv Art Institute (1990, teacher A. Chebykin). Since 1996, he has been working at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Kyiv): since 2007, he is an associate professor of the Department of Graphic Arts. Participant of all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions since 1985. Personal exhibitions - in Kyiv (2000, 2001, 2004). The main fields are easel graphics and painting. The artist's work is a bright, emotional response to the complex realities of modern times, reproduced in the vein of global postmodern artistic trends. Kovach Taras

Kovach Taras (Born 1982)

Graphic artist, designer. 1st prize of the All-Ukrainian Graphics Triennial (Kyiv, 2009), gold medal of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2010). Member of NSHU (2008). He graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architects (Kyiv, 2006, teachers: V. Bystryakov, A. Chebykin), where he has been working since: since 2011 - a teacher of the Department of Graphics. Participant of city, regional, all-Ukrainian, international art exhibitions since 2010.

Personal - in Kyiv (2010). In the field of easel graphics, he creates etchings, lithographs, linocuts, prints. The artist's work gravitates towards iconicity and brevity. Andriy Chebykin

Andriy Chebykin (Born 1946)

People's Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko, professor, active member (academic) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Participant of domestic and international art exhibitions. As a teacher, he created a kind of print school. Manages the workshop of free graphics of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (since 1985). In 1989, he was elected rector. While leading the educational institution, while preserving the best traditions, he carried out a reorientation of the educational process aimed at freely revealing the creative abilities of students.

A. V. Chebykin is the co-author of the textbook "Etching Technique" (1978) for art higher education institutions. Many of his former students became famous artists, laureates of various art competitions, exhibitions, and received honorary titles of Ukraine. Works in the field of easel, book graphics, monumental art. The graphic series created by him impress with the depth of thought and the expressiveness of the artistic form, the elegant freedom of execution. Among the important artistic and plastic principles developed by the artist and teacher A. V. Chebykin is the principle of a skillful, inventive combination of the metaphorical language of symbols and signs with the plastic qualities of the texture of graphic materials (paper, cardboard, etc.).

Olexandr Olhov

Olexandr Olhov (Born 1956)

People's Artist of Ukraine, member of the National Academy of Arts. Graduated from Kyiv Art Institute (1981, workshop of V. Puzyrkov). The main genre is landscape, in particular urban. The harmonious integrity of the works, refined tonality, transparent palette are characteristic of the pictorial style. Natural painterly feeling, incredible capacity for work brings the artist into the circle of outstanding representatives of Ukrainian art of the 20th-21st centuries. The philosophy of the artist's worldview is deep and at the same time accessible to the viewer, it speaks of primordial values, love of life. Mykola Kochubey

Mykola Kochubey (Born 1956)

Honored Artist of Ukraine (2007). 1st prize of the All-Ukrainian exhibition-competition named after G. Yakutovych (2002). International award named after G. Narbut for the best Ukrainian postage stamp (2003) and named after Palladio at the World Numismatic Competition (Vicenza, Italy, 2005). Winner of the World Competition for the Christmas stamp (Vienna, 2005).

At the All-National Competition "The Best Coin of the Year", the following were awarded: "Sorochyn Fair" (2005), "Vodokhreshche" (2006), "Holodomor - Genocide of the Ukrainian People" (2008). Art prize of the Head of the Department of Culture named after O. Danchenko (2009). Member of the NSHU (1990). Studied privately with V. Zaretskyi (1983–84), graduated from Kyiv Art Institute (1990, teachers: M. Kompanets, A. Chebykin, G. Yakutovych). He works in Kyiv: from 1996, he is the head of the section of graphic art artists of the NSHU organization.

Participant of all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions since 1986. Personal ones - in Kyiv (1995, 1999, 2007, 2010), Paris (2008). Ukrainian folklore is the basis of the artist's work; the main technique is color etching. Uses fragments of Ukrainian icon painting, b. paintings, useful things, achieving variability of the ornament; develops design sketches for jubilee and commemorative coins of the NBU. Krasna Tetiana (Born 1956)

Member of NSHU. Graduated from Kyiv Art Institute (1981). The main fields are monumental art, painting, graphics. In landscapes, portraits, still lifes, he demonstrates a realistic manner in an academic version, bold decorative-monumental techniques, features of naive painting. Oksana Poltavets-Huida

Oksana Poltavets-Huida (Born 1956)

Honored Artist of Ukraine, awarded with badge of Excellence in Education of Ukraine, Associate Member of National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. Since 1980, Oksana Poltavets-Huida has been presenting her paintings at all-Ukrainian and foreign group exhibitions. Personal exhibitions: 1998, 2006, 2017, 2018 (Kyiv), 2019 (Chernihiv).
